Introduction To Photography (Beginner level)

After a year of hosting many successful photography workshops, I'm excited to introduce a fresh course that revisits the foundational aspects of operating a camera in manual mode. This course is dedicated to mastering the art of capturing timeless and well-exposed RAW photographs directly in-camera.
Course Overview
Theory Session
We begin the workshop with a two-hour theory session at The Coffee Commune in Bowen Hills and delve into camera theory fundamentals and key features such as button functions and general settings. During the theory session you will learn how to control your camera in manual mode and gain confidence in manipulating aperture, shutter speed, white balance and different focusing modes.
Practical Session
Translate theory into practice during a 30min stroll around Bowen Hills. Experiment with various techniques such as exposure control, depth of field management, and shutter speed adjustment to capture captivating images. Upon our return from the shooting session, we will delve into the fundamentals of Lightroom and explore the process of color grading the photos you've captured.
