Terms & Conditions
By signing up to this workshop, you confirm that you have read and agree to the following Terms & Conditions (also available at checkout).
Workshop Changes, Content & Delivery
Workshop content, locations, schedules, models, and shooting opportunities may be subject to change where necessary due to unforeseen circumstances. While every effort will be made to deliver the workshop as advertised, the organiser reserves the right to make reasonable adjustments to the format, venue, timing, or content. Such changes do not entitle participants to a refund or transfer.
Minimum Numbers & Workshop Cancellation
Workshops may be cancelled or rescheduled if minimum participant numbers are not met or due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, participants will be offered either a full refund or transfer to an alternative date.
Where a workshop is postponed or rescheduled by the organiser, every effort will be made to schedule a replacement date within a reasonable timeframe. If a replacement workshop date is not scheduled within three (3) months of the original workshop date, participants may request a full refund or credit voucher.
Cancellations, Refunds, Transfers, No-Shows & Payment Plans
Refunds are available for cancellations made more than 14 days prior to the workshop date. Cancellations made within 14 days of the workshop date are non-refundable. If you book within 14 days of the workshop date, your booking is automatically non-refundable due to the proximity of the event.
In cases where a participant needs to cancel within 14 days of the workshop, they may, at the organiser’s discretion, be offered a credit voucher to attend a future workshop. All cancellation requests must be made directly with the organiser (Paulinne) to be assessed.
Once a voucher has been issued and accepted, this decision is final. Vouchers cannot be exchanged for a refund or altered to an alternative resolution at a later date.
No-shows are not eligible for refunds or vouchers.
For split payment or instalment options, a 50% deposit is required to secure the booking. The remaining balance must be paid in full prior to the workshop date. If cancellation occurs within 14 days of the workshop date, the deposit remains non-refundable.
Transfers to another workshop date may be offered at the organiser’s discretion and are subject to availability.
No refunds or credits will be issued for late arrivals, early departures, or missed portions of the workshop.
If a workshop is cancelled or rescheduled by the organiser and a replacement date is not scheduled within three (3) months of the original workshop date, participants will be eligible for either a full refund or credit voucher.
Weather Policy
In the case of adverse weather conditions affecting either outdoor or indoor workshops, including but not limited to extreme weather events such as floods, fires, storms, or other unforeseen environmental conditions, the organiser reserves the right to reschedule the workshop to a new date or adjust the location and format where necessary to ensure participant safety.
Refunds will not be issued in the event of a reschedule. If a participant is unable to attend the new date, they will be offered a credit voucher for a future workshop at the organiser’s discretion.
If a replacement workshop date is not scheduled within three (3) months of the original workshop date, participants will then be eligible for a full refund or credit voucher.
Equipment & Personal Belongings
Participants are solely responsible for their own personal belongings and photographic equipment at all times during the workshop, whether in studio or on location. The organiser (Paulinne) kindly asks all participants to be mindful of their own equipment, where they are placing it, and not to leave it unattended or out of sight. The organiser accepts no responsibility for any loss, theft, or damage to the attendees personal equipment.
Participant Conduct & Removal
The organiser reserves the right to remove any participant from the workshop if their behaviour is deemed unsafe, disruptive, or disrespectful to others. No refund will be issued in such cases.
Liability & Personal Responsibility
By attending the workshop, participants acknowledge that they take responsibility for their own safety and conduct throughout the workshop. Participants are expected to act responsibly and follow any reasonable instructions provided by the organiser. The organiser accepts no liability for injury, loss, or damage arising from a participant's own careless, reckless, unsafe, or inappropriate behaviour, including the failure to follow instructions provided during the workshop. Public liability insurance is maintained by the organiser for the nature of the event.
Force Majeure (Events Outside of Control)
The organiser is not liable for cancellations, postponements, or changes caused by events outside of reasonable control, including but not limited to illness, venue issues, extreme weather, fires, floods, storms, or government restrictions.
Workshop Level, Suitability & Inclusions
All courses are designed for photographers who already have a basic understanding of how to use a camera in manual mode independently. If you are a different type of creative (such as a stylist, makeup artist, content creator, or similar), please get in touch with the organiser (Paulinne) directly prior to booking if you have any questions regarding the course level or inclusions, to ensure the workshop is suitable for your needs.
The organiser (Paulinne) is not responsible for any misunderstandings or changes of expectation after booking or attending the workshop. The course level and inclusions are always clearly stated on the course page. No refunds will be issued if a participant later feels the workshop is not aligned with their expectations, including where they consider the level to be either too advanced or not advanced enough.
By enrolling, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and accepted the workshop description, level, and inclusions prior to booking, and that they are responsible for ensuring the course aligns with their needs before purchase.
Photography Rights & Usage
Participants retain copyright of the images they capture during the workshop. Images may be used for personal and professional portfolio purposes, including websites, social media, and photography portfolios.
Images may not be used for paid advertising, commercial advertising campaigns, or boosted/promoted social media content without prior written permission from the organiser (Paulinne).
This policy is in place to ensure respect for the models involved. If you wish to use images for paid or commercial advertising purposes, please contact the organiser directly for approval.
The organiser may capture behind-the-scenes content during workshops for educational or promotional purposes. By attending, participants consent to such usage unless otherwise requested in writing prior to the workshop.
