Posing & Creative Direction — Yatoma Studio

June 7, 2025 @ 9am - 1pm

Welcome to a workshop close to my heart, tailored for beginner and intermediate photographers seeking to explore the art of directing and finding confidence behind the lens. I've been on this creative journey, and I understand the challenges photographers face, especially when it comes to communicating our vision and connecting with our subjects.

With a background as a professional ballet dancer and experience as a model, I understand what is required both in front of and behind the camera. In this workshop, I'm excited to share my passion and knowledge with you.

Course highlights

  • Designed for fashion, beauty and portrait photographers, we'll explore a full pdf of versatile posing ideas that will empower you to bring out the best in your subjects without previous experience in front of the camera. Explore ways to combine your style of directing with your workflow and photographic style.

  • You'll learn the art of creative direction, building personal connections with your models that allows your unique vision to come to life.

  • The opportunity to test shoot with a model to build up your portfolio and confidence in a professional studio environment.
