For years, fashion photography has been at the heart of my practice, refined through hands-on experience and industry knowledge. In this exclusive Two-Part Workshop, I’m opening up my complete workflow for the first time - guiding a small group of photographers from conceptualising and directing a shoot to editing and delivering the final images.
A Complete Fashion Photography Masterclass: From Shoot to Edit (November 22-23, 2025)

Course Highlights
Part One - The Shoot (3 hours, on location) From 3-6pm
During this hands-on session, we’ll dive into the unique requirements of shooting fashion. You’ll learn:
Planning and structure
How I prepare for a fashion shoot (timing, flow, and expectations from clients/brands).
Understanding the variety of images often required — full looks, details, movement shots, and variety in poses.
Balancing creativity with commercial needs.
Making clothing look its best
How to work with different types of garments so they sit well in-camera.
Spotting and correcting small details before they become distractions (creases, movement, fit).
Techniques for working with patterns, textures, and colour palettes to make each piece stand out.
Directing models
Where and how to place your subject so the clothing is the hero.
Movement and posing techniques that showcase garments naturally.
Creative direction to help models bring energy while keeping the focus on the clothes.
On-set considerations
Working with natural backdrops — blending or contrasting with fabrics.
Managing colour accuracy and exposure in varying outdoor conditions.
Building a set of images that feels consistent, polished, and ready for a client.
Part Two - The Edit (3 hours) From 10am-1pm
Editing is where fashion photography comes together, and this session will give you a clear, professional workflow. Together, we’ll cover:
Capture One foundations (with my partner James, professional photographer & digital technician)
File management and industry-standard storage practices.
Setting up sessions/catalogues for efficiency.
Export settings and delivery standards used in fashion and e-commerce.
Collaborative editing session (with me)
Reviewing and selecting images from our shoot - how to cull efficiently and choose the strongest edits.
Colour grading to create a consistent, timeless look.
Garment colour management: ensuring fabrics and tones are true to life.
Building a smooth editing workflow that saves time while meeting professional standards.
Finalising the collection so it feels cohesive and client-ready.
Open discussion
Tips, advice, and industry insights from years of experience.
Space for your questions, whether about photography, working with clients, or building your fashion portfolio.
We’ll cover the basics of Capture One, the industry-standard software for fashion photographers. You’re welcome to use Lightroom - the principles we teach apply to both.
This workshop is spread across two half-day sessions: the first focuses on hands-on shooting, where you’ll learn how to structure a fashion shoot, direct models, and showcase garments; the second covers editing, including workflow, colour management, and how to deliver a cohesive final collection of images.
This is the first time I’m teaching a fashion-focused workshop, something I’ve built up to over years of industry experience. I want to keep it small, personal, and valuable.
The investment is $699 for the full two-day experience (shooting + editing). Payment plans are available so you can spread it out if needed.
